CASE STUDY - PREMIUM PENSION
Repositioning a PFA.
Premium Pension Limited is one of the top pension fund administrators in Nigeria. Headquartered in Abuja, it has 12 branches across the country and over N1.3 billion in shareholders’ funds.
The Challenge.
Premium Pension wanted to develop a marketing communication programme that will increase the visibility of its brand in the market.

Communication Strategy.
Based on Premium Pension’s strategic communication objectives, Alder developed a cohesive strategy that outlined audiences, solutions, and programmes across (traditional & digital) media. The programme leveraged heavily on social media. A detailed implementation plan (and budget) was also produced. This plan was adopted by the Board of the organisation
Marketing Communication.
A new graphic style was designed. Print advertisements, billboards, radio scripts, and TV storyboards were also developed for the brand
Social Media.
A social media strategy incorporating a message, measurable goals and initiatives were developed for Premium Pension.
Five platforms were used to spearhead the organisation’s social communication – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin, and Youtube. Alder directly managed Premium Pension’s social media accounts, rebranding pages, developing & publishing content.
Alder conceptualised and managed the #Reward4DHustle campaign (versions 1 & 2) on behalf of Premium Pension. The competition was organised for the working class and entrepreneurs. There were weekly winners and four grand prize winners.
Alder also conceptualised and managed the #Make it Happen Campaign targeted at Nation Youth Service Corp (NYSC) members in 5 cities including Abuja and Lagos.
A photography street series was organised in Lagos. Pictures were shared on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
Over a 12-month period, Premium Pension’s Facebook audience grew by 768%, Twitter by 490%, Instagram by 3022% and Linkedin by 276%!
