CASE STUDY - Global Impact Church

Developing a new brand identity for a growing ministry.

Global Impact Church is a rapidly growing Christian ministry located in the Lagos metropolis.

The Challenge.

The church desired a new brand identity to reflect its mission and global positioning. It required design brand strategies with long term impact on the church’s programmes, processes, and structures.

Brand Strategy.

A strategy session held with the senior Pastors and key members of the leadership team of the church. At the session, the brand fundamentals including the vision, mission, values, personality, and brand essence were defined. A brand strategy document was developed. Two major initiatives were also initiated: a leadership development institute and a human development fund.

Communication Strategy.

A communication strategy was designed to propagate GIC’s brand promises. This strategy detailed programmes, initiatives, action plans, and timelines. 

Visual Identity.

A new logo was developed for the church. This was translated visual identity standards and corporate function materials. A visual identity manual was also developed.

Brand Architecture.

Global Impact’s brand architecture was clearly defined and impacted on the translation of the brand across board.

Website Strategy & Design.

Global Impact’s existing website was reviewed and a web strategy was developed. A concept document and sitemap were developed to guide the design of the new church website.

Social Media.

Alder conducted an audit of Global Impact’s existing social media platforms and initiatives. Using the result of the audit, a robust social media strategy and implementation plan was developed.

A social media policy document were also scripted to guide volunteers and staff.
