Alder Consulting was founded in 2001 by Laura S. Quinn to help nonprofits
create affordable and powerful technology solutions. Alder is a
collaboration between Laura, independent contractors, and other
companies. When needed, partners are selected specifically for each
development project. This arrangement ensures proven team members
for every project without passing you the overhead costs needed
to keep all of these people on salary.
About Laura S. Quinn
Laura has
designed strategic technology solutions for more than ten years.
She specializes in helping clients - including many who have very
little technology experience - turn a vague concept into an application
that exceeds their goals while staying within their budget. Her
background in project management, user-centered functional design,
and nonprofit technology has been valuable to dozens of corporate
and nonprofit clients including Wave Hill (www.wavehill.org), the
New York Council for the Humanities (www.nyhumanities.org), the
Prospect Park Audubon Center, the Mt. Sinai Adolescent Health Center
(www.positiveyouth.org), the large Booksense.com ecommerce site

Laura frequently speaks and publishes on nonprofit internet topics.
